Prices and Privacy Policy

Chiropractic is now recognised by most private health insurance companies, including AXA PPP and BUPA.

Please check with your insurance company for details and level of cover.

Initial consultation: No fee
Examination: £40 (children and students £35)
Treatment: £40 (children and students £35)

 

The first visit typically consists of a free consultation (10 min) followed by examination and treatment. Combined price of £80 (children/ students £70). Please allow up 1 hour for the first visit.

Follow-up treatments  last 25-30 minutes (£40/£35 kids and students)

We also offer free postural check-ups for children during school holidays.

We accept payment by either bank transfer, cash or cheque made payable to Pernille Hyll Larsen

 

Privacy Policy

Under the new General Data Protection Act of 25 May 2018 we are required to inform you of the clinic’s data protection policy.

We use and process the following categories of personal data about you:
Name, address, telephone numbers, email address, DOB, GP, health information incl. medical history, diagnosis, examination and treatment data.
Relevant information from other healthcare professions and previous investigations.
Date of appointments and payments.

Our lawful basis for collecting and storing the data is as a provision of a health care service, chiropractic clinic.

In addition, we will only examine and treat you with your explicit consent, a separate form to sign.

The patient file will only be accessible for clinical staff involved in processing  patient data ; the receptionists for clerical purpose (such as preparing a invoice) or by a fellow practitioner at in case of holiday cover (locum) or for a second opinion

All information provided will be treated as confidential will never be given to any other person or organisations without the written consent from the patient concerned. This includes GP, Health Insurance Company and solicitors.

Data will never be past on to a third party for marketing purposes.

We are required to keep your data for 8 years from the last entry and until age 25 years if patient is under 18 years (26 if 17 of age the time of last entry) as recommended by General Chiropractic Council (GCC). The data will thereafter be securely deleted and destroyed.

As we process your personal data you have certain rights to access, view or obtain a copy, rectification, erasure and a right to restricted processing of any information the clinic may holds about you.

In order for you to request any of above you must contact the clinic in writing or by email incl. name, address and DOB, you may be asked for proof of identity (passport). There is no charge for copies of your file and the clinic is required to respond to you within 40 days.

If you believe any of the data the clinic holds on you is either incorrect or incomplete, please contact the clinic so any necessary corrections can be made promptly. This also includes change of name, address and telephone number.

Should any of your personal data we control be lost, stolen or otherwise breached and constitutes a high risk to your rights and freedom, we will contact you without delay. We will explain to you the nature of the breach and which step we are taking deal with it.
